Keinemusik’s sky-rocket to the top of the melodic house and techno scene has been deserved. As a group, &ME, Adam Port, Rampa and Reznik have taken the scene by storm, with deeply moving releases on their own Berlin-based stamp, as well as through solo efforts with labels like Pampa Records, Diynamic and Crosstown Rebels, all getting a slice of Keinemusik’s rich production flavour.

The German quartet each bring their own unique touch to the group (but not forgetting fifth member Monja Gentschow, who leads the art side of the label). Touring both together and alone, Keinemusik has been able to spread their music mission to every corner of every club on the planet.

Adam Port is the latest to fly the Keinemusik flag through his recently released White Noise Romantica EP. Let’s have a listen.

White Noise Romantica by Adam Port

On the A-Side, White Noise Romantica gives a full synth flavoured slice of Keinemusik funkiness. Keeping it subtle, Adam Port crafts an introduction that gradually builds, adding a soft kick element that ties the piece together.

As the track moves along, a powerful riser releases the subtleness and reveals an occasional rattle, adding a new desert-sound-layer to the music. Here, Port creates an outdoor atmosphere for that end-of-the-middle-of-the-night moment. White Noise Romantica is a passport to a deeper level of music.

A Run Run Run remix titles the alternative side to this new Keinemusik EP. Adam Port never shies away from an edit. For this one, the Berlin-based producer brings Yeah But No’s atmospheric piece and strips it back slightly, bringing it into a more recognisable dancefloor setting.

Yeah But No’s original Run Run Run is wonderful in itself and Port does a tremendous job of retaining the deeper feel of the song and instead of re-working it completely, he adds a punchier bassline, preserving the wicked melody of the song. The Keinemusik crue produces yet another world-class remix to add to your collection.
