&ME’s entrance to the techno and house scene was quietly powerful. His productions do all the promotion he needs. His Keinemusik crew – a Berlin based DJ and art collective – has given André Boadu (&ME) the perfect vessel to transport his patient, melodic, emotional and haunting style of dance music.
In 2018, In Your Eyes on Pampa Records followed the same path. It cautiously made its way onto the dancefloor. Before we knew it, In Your Eyes was inside every record bag, on every DJ’s memory card and being played over every sound-system across the world.

2018 belonged to Pampa Records. With label-head DJ Koze taking this year’s unofficial song of the summer title with Pick Up, &ME’s later In Your Eyes owned the second half of the season.
As the festival circuit dismantled its tents and Ibiza closed its club doors, this Pampa production left a memorable mark on the last of the summer ravers. &ME composed an end-of-season tribute, with timeless possibilities.
From late-August onwards, In Your Eyes closed a page, then opened a new clubbing chapter as dance music entered the darker part of the year. True to the song’s structure, In Your Eyes gathered suspense and released its feeling over the winter months and back into the spring. If Damian Lazarus is closing DC10 with this – as well as Laurent Garnier at Time Warp seven months later – you can understand the kind of staying power this track holds.
Masterful as ever, &ME creates a feeling of anticipation. A soft kick partners a swift tambourine shake, with a subtle and classic piano melody to provide the skeleton of the track, but it’s the snowballing synth lead that gives In Your Eyes life.
As each layer builds and releases, the song finally unfolds with a rush of pure melodic euphoria. Whether you hear this at the start of the night, beginning, middle, or end, the feeling will stay the same.
In Your Eyes is a true composition. Expect to feel it over and over and over again.
